Sorry it's been over a month since I posted anything! :/
Thanks to *soulmaninc for gettin' the rest of the series of The Maxx graphic novels for me! I read them the other night and then had to do a fanart drawin' of The Maxx (both Julie's version and Sarah's version. They were orginally fighting but now I imagine Sarah's Maxx -the horse, is catching the original maxx as he falls.. perhaps that duvet-cloak can make the horsie fly! Drew this cos I couldn't sleep, finally finished the biro drawin' at 7.30am LOL
coloured it tonight cos I've been colourin' comics all day and I just felt like doin' something quick and lose :]
The Maxx is a great graphic novel series by Sam Kieth, there's also been an animation made of the first volume.. if you don't know it you should check it out, if you've seen/heard of part of it and liked it, you should see the rest. it's weird and surreal, but it's good. :]

I wonder if Sarah's Maxx counts as a chalicothere or a tikabalang... or both...
