Saw "Brave" Last night, and it was just what I needed; I went into the film no expectations and it was awesome, and resonated with me on so many levels it's untrue. Nice to see a some strong female characters (Merida AND Mum!) not obviously written with a "guys' view of how women should be", and their relationship together was really well handled... I have to get this on DVD and show my mum! Some of the messages about fate and following your heart and all, however cheesy in places, where just what I needed to hear. All in all and It was just the kick to the inspiration gland that I needed and I felt so juiced-up coming out of the film that I started this while waiting for the train back... continued on the train and finished off at home, taking about an hour in total. It might be only quick and loose but it's an important piece to me.

I've been feeling hugely bolstered and supported by all your love, comments, and gift art etc lately.. I can't thank you enough I've been going through a real tricky phase that has lead me thinking/feeling some horrible things, but every single one of your messages of support has really helped and encouraged me... I know I'm not out of the woods yet but you guys are my will-o-wisps, helping me to stay on the right track.
