After drawin' Dreamie in a pretty nasty situation the other day with Rah, I figured I needed to redress the balance, and spend some time making a nice picture of her... I had this idea last night of drawing her with *MaryBunnie's Wishing Panda, to help cheer her up and lighten her dreams... I didn't have the energy to make the piece last night after teaching all day yesterday, but the idea was still with me this afternoon. So I made a start then and I'm only now finishing at gone 3.30am! I'm pretty pleased with how it came out though, and I really hope you like it *MaryBunnie, - keep your chin up and remember the strength you have within you.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactHonest opinion on this the whole piece radiates a mystical/joy, that weightless feel of a dream, still earth bound the characters are doing so at their own free will or maybe they'll just go right back up who knows but the atmosphere dictates pure joy and happiness.
The use of colors here is Extraordinary, cool blu matched with warm golds, hard black and white toned softly with the promise that purple brings, a calm peace and joy. I like how the lighting especially reflects off both, it drs you in to their faces and lets your eyes flow over the whole piece at your own pace and doesn't keep you locked to anything specific, each time you look at it there is something new to be seen and enjoyed.
Technique - I always am a sucker for a painter feel, jut because the paint and brush are digital doesn't make the skill any less, I like the sketchy feel of the swirls and light, but the characters are crisp and soft at the same time, dream wolf coming into full existance is almost like a dream materializing beside her friend as if to silently say, "I am always here right beside you"
there is so much to say about this, nothing negative reaches the mind, nothing AI would change or tweak, its the heart, the essence of the painting and what inspired it that keeps me coming back to it and smiling.
